How Fear is Used to Turn You Against Spirituality

David G, Guest / Waking Times   How Fear is Used to Turn You Against Spirituality David G, Guest Waking Times Fear is a weapon of social control used to manipulate thoughts and actions without people even knowing it. Today it’s used to control and alienate would-be practitioners of alternative spirituality. How has this happened and who stands to gain from it? By understanding how fear is used we can be free of manipulation in our choice of spirituality. If you were an early Christian (back when it was still an alternative religion) you had to be careful not to become food for a lion. Once Christianity was established, if you were ‘pagan’ or a ‘witch’ you had to be careful not to be burnt at the stake. Nowadays, unless you live in China where Falun Gong practitioners – who were once supported by the state until they gained too much influence – are still victims of false imprisonment, torture and live organ harvesting, or in a strict middle-eastern country where you might be hung for expressing alternative spiritual beliefs, it’s somewhat safer to be on the fringe of religious belief. Free from the fear of impending death, one might think that we have much more spiritual freedom. Unfortunately however in the Western world, physical abuse has been substituted for fear inducing propaganda, and we have long been studied as a humanity to discover the most effective psychological triggers with which we can be controlled. Rather than physically stopping people from practising spirituality, these techniques insidiously influence social attitudes so that people avoid exploring alternative spirituality to begin with. For a greater understanding of modern day manipulation, let’s step back in time to the early 20th century and the birth of propaganda and social engineering.   Fear responses can be conditioned The fight-or-flight response is one of the most basic instinctual mechanisms we are born with. Fear has an impressive history of helping us to avoid harmful situations, and as we listened to it and survived by running from predators, these instincts were probably reinforced through generations as those who survived through fear brought their children up to survive in the same way. But fear can also be used as a mechanism to control us and scientists have long been fascinated by fear reactions, conducting many studies trying to understand how fear becomes conditioned. The greatest developments in this field have been in the realm of ‘Behaviourism’; the theory that animal and human behaviour can be explained through conditioning.   John B Watson – “The driving force in society is not love, it’s fear”  In the early 20th century, John B Watson began experimenting with fear-based conditioning. He wanted to know if phobias could be conditioned in humans.Watson conducted the “Little Albert” experiment, showing an emotionally stable baby: a fire; a monkey; a dog; a rabbit; and finally a white lab rat, all of which Little Albert responded to without fear. Watson then began making a loud noise every time Little Albert reached out to touch the rat. With increasingly loud noises, Little Albert became more and more distressed when the rat came near. Watson then showed Little Albert stimuli which had similar characteristics to the rat, including other animals, a fur coat and a Santa Clause mask. Each time Little Albert (although previously calm) responded with fear, leading Watson to determine that fear is most likely a conditioned response in humans....

Proof Of Reincarnation? This Boy Remembers His Previous Life As A Woman, Named Pam

Collective Evolution   Proof Of Reincarnation? This Boy Remembers His Previous Life As A Woman, Named Pam Collective Evolution Do you believe in reincarnation? Is it something that happens to our soul when we die? Do we move onto another life in a different physicality and continue our evolution as souls? There are many different perspectives and opinions on this. There are also many religions based entirely around this concept, and amazingly enough, a lot of evidence that can directly support this theory. Take Luke for example, a little boy who vividly remembers what appears to be a past life as a woman who died in the 70’s named, Pam. “We shouldn’t define the soul by race or gender.” Watch the video below to heard about Luke’s story.     Further Evidence About Reincarnation Interestingly enough, this is not the first time that this has occurred. There are many children and adults worldwide who claim to remember their past lives. Sure, you could dismiss some of these quite easily as there is no real proof, but what about the others? What about the instances such as Luke’s who can remember such specific details about his former life that he would not have been able to know otherwise? Here is a link for another story about a little boy who remembers so much of his past life as a World War II pilot that he actually gets reunited with his sister! There are just too many details that this boy would have had no way of knowing had he not lived the life that he describes. Internet Trolls, Psychopaths, and General Haters – Here’s what they have taught me

Visuals by Stanka / written by Alen Mischael Vukelić  Photo: Pixabay Internet Trolls, Psychopaths, and General Haters – Here’s what they have taught me by Alen Mischael Vukelić Social networks on the Intenet give a perfect possibility to see all kinds of human behavior simultaneously at one glance without the need for immediate interaction. You always have the time to read a comment, reflect on it, and give an answer – or not – appropriate to the discussion. You don’t have to answer right away, and exactly this gives you the opportunity to learn and to grow as a person. I think that when meeting people in person, we usually get overwhelmed just by someone’s appearance or facial expressions, which sometimes suffice to provoke an inappropriate reaction. I don’t want to say: Exchange your life for an online reality, I just say here is a great opportunity to learn how to distinguish a person’s motivation while engaging in carefree conversation. Since the motivation is key in every dialogue, you should definitely figure out the agenda behind the argument. It is, in fact, much more important than the discussion itself. Be it in a physical reality or on the Internet, there are always people who like to suck up all the energy in a conversation; their idea is not to bring in any plausible arguments, but to destroy everything which smells like harmony. Because in a real argument, you get to laugh every once in a while, and on occasions, we also admit to our own conflict of ideas – don’t we?   Trolling for fun and recreation Well not everyone, there are many people who don’t really care about the subject of the conversation; they care about the object – which is you. They always attack you personally, telling you that you are stupid, uneducated, unqualified, inexperienced, naïve or easily deceivable, unscientific, immature, superstitious. As you can see the words are always personal, they never contain any real argumentation, and if they do, they are combined with words which have a negative connotation towards you or the subject you are ‘talking’ about.   Losing all of your energy The problem with all sane people is that they completely overlook the initial motivation; they start justifying their stance, and even try to explain their argumentation in a million different ways in the hope to gain some sort of understanding of someone whose only ‘understanding’ is to empty your well of energy to the point of complete exhaustion. I’ve seen those people having entirely opposed opinions while arguing with different people. So what does this tell you? Of course I believe that we grow and change throughout our lives, and that we learn to understand new perspectives – but not inside 20 minutes while having an angry conversation. You might say; it’s subconsciously intentional. They are mostly not really aware of what they are doing, to say it mildly: they just are extremely oppurtunistic. They go after it, and try to make the best mess out of it they possibly can. And the higher the tensions the better. They always look satisfied when things get out of control. I’ve seen them putting this sarcastic little smile on their face when they feel they got to the point where the argument is...

The Business of Sickness, And Why We Must Protest Until It’s Stopped

The Business of Sickness, And Why We Must Protest Until It’s Stopped

Dr. Eldon Dahl, Prevent Disease / Waking Times   The Business of Sickness, And Why We Must Protest Until It’s Stopped Dr. Eldon Dahl, Prevent Disease Waking Times Sickness is a great business, and the pharmaceutical industry knows this very well. They would have you to believe they are in the health business, but they are not. They are in the business of sickness. And, judging from a business perspective, it is brilliant, but at the same time, corrupt. They are not isolated in the business of sickness; many other associates are involved: the medical system, drug companies with their research departments, and government to supervise and create the sort of treadmill the populous run on: symptomatic treatment, while avoiding cures and prosecuting those who would dare try. As a society, we are led to believe that everything is not so bad, and we rationalize this theory by comparing ourselves to those who are worse off. It is an outright lie. We are standing on a precipice of no return, and the outcome will affect everyone on the planet. Things just could not be worse.   View the following statistics. Does this not seem so bad? Chronic Pain: According to the CDC, 1 in 3 Americans are in chronic pain with arthritis (pain lasting 3 months or more), and in Canada that number is almost 1 in 5. Mental Illness: In America, 1 in 5 suffers from mental illness. In Canada–including the adolescents–the rate is 1 in 6. A new case of Alzheimer’s is discovered every 68 seconds in the USA, and by 2050 that is estimated to be double: one new case every 33 seconds. Diabetes: Diabetes affects 9.3% of the US population (detected) and a much greater number yet undetected. If current trends continue, 1 in 3 will have diabetes by 2050. Autism: Today, autism affects 1 in 68 children, and according to Dr. Stephanie Seneff, PhD, it will soon be 1 out of 2. Half of the children born will have autism within 15 years. Dr. Seneff has researched biology and technology, and published over 170 scholarly peer-reviewed articles. Cancer: From birth to death, 1 in 2 will die of cancer. Chemotherapy treatment uses 5 year survival statistics. If they were to use 10 year statistics, only 2.1% would have survived; 97.9% would not. Vaccinations: According to the EPA, the average child can tolerate 0.3 micrograms of mercury. A 2 month old infant receiving all 4 scheduled vaccinations (DtaP, Polio, Hib, and Hepatitis B) will have a mercury level of 62.5 micrograms–125 times higher than the EPA “safe level.” Obesity: According to the CBC, nearly half the world’s adults will be overweight or obese by 2030, should present trends continue. Still convinced things aren’t so bad? Let’s test this theory: Prescription drugs versus natural medicine. Drugs are not taxable, but vitamins are. Health care is covered by the state medical system in Canada and through Obamacare in the US. Medical visits are included in healthcare without limits; however, other healing arts are either excluded from the plan or extremely limited. State hospitals offer first aid to treat accidents, drug overdose and symptom control. Naturopathic hospitals treat the core illness, and treatments are either not covered or extremely limited in group plan coverage. Drugs that kill remain on...

The Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation

The Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation

James Borges, Borderlands / Waking Times   The Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation James Borges, Borderlands Waking Times The Five Rites are a form of simple stretches that among many things stimulate the glands of the body to increase in vitality and stamina. The Rites are not rigorous exercises. The Five Rites are simple postures that activate the body’s nervous system on the etheric level to restore optimal health. The glands are key components in the nervous system. George Crile shows in “The Phenomena of Life” (TPOL) how the glands govern the bodies electrical systems “It is at once clear that there is within the organism an energy-controlling system which is activated by the special senses primarily. Theoretically, this system would consist of the special senses, the brain, the adrenal-sympathetic system and the thyroid gland.” Ruth Drown suggests that the glands are conductors of ether or vital force. A very interesting book called “Hindu Secret of Virility and Rejuvenation” (HSOVR) published by The Basic Science Fellowship suggested the idea that each rite triggers a gland and stimulates it in a gentle manner. Dr. Drowns observations combined with this idea led to the conclusion that these rites develop the glands and thus the body’s ability to receive the vital force, or ether that is constantly descending into the brain and through the entire body via the glandular system as electricity. The Five Rites as given by Peter Kelder do not refer to ether, glands, or chakras but simply to Vortexes. The connection of the vortexes to the glands is no mere coincidence; this is an ancient borderland science. The glands and the nerve plexus are the physical manifestations of the chakras. I imagine the colorful wheels depicted in mythology are descriptions of the fields viewed through highly developed senses that can perceive the ether. Rudolf Steiner describes such sense development. That the glands are radiating energy we know from the radio, electric interpretation of life as developed by George Crile, “Evolution probably seized upon the factors that have the power of shifting the amount of radiation toward the short wave field, hence increasing the amount of electricity generated. Thus, an increase in the electrical charge up increases the muscular and glandular activity of the animal.” The Five Rites seem to enhance the ability to shift the amount of short wave radiation toward the short wave field. ‘We see a glimpse of the etheric/electric transmutation taking place within the Vortex. The Five Rites stimulate the entire “energy-controlling system”, the body’s ability to receive vital force is enhanced. The correspondence between the Vortexes and the key organs of the “energy-controlling system” is demonstrated in Figure One. There are seven Psychic Vortexes in the body: Vortex “A” is located within the forehead; Vortex “B” is located in the posterior part of the brain; Vortex “C” is in the region of the throat at the base of the neck; Vortex “D” is located in the right side of the body above the waist line; Vortex “E” is located in the reproductive anatomy, and is directly connected with Vortex “C” in the throat; Vortexes “F” and “G” are located one on either knee. Vortex “A” is the pineal gland. Vortex “B” is the pituitary gland. The pituitary is a very small gland, it is about the size of...

8 Ways Magic Mushrooms Explain Santa Story

8 Ways Magic Mushrooms Explain Santa Story

Douglas Main, Live Science / Waking Times   8 Ways Magic Mushrooms Explain Santa Story Douglas Main, Live Science Waking Times Santa and his bag of… magic mushrooms? The story of Santa and his flying reindeer can be traced to an unlikely source: hallucinogenic or “magic” mushrooms, according to one theory. “Santa is a modern counterpart of a shaman, who consumed mind-altering plants and fungi to commune with the spirit world,” said John Rush, an anthropologist and instructor at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. Here are eight ways that hallucinogenic mushrooms explain the story of Santa and his reindeer. 1. Arctic shamans gave out mushrooms on the winter solstice. According to the theory, the legend of Santa derives from shamans in the Siberian and Arctic regions who dropped into locals’ teepeelike homes with a bag full of hallucinogenic mushrooms as presents in late December, Rush said. “As the story goes, up until a few hundred years ago, these practicing shamans or priests connected to the older traditions would collect Amanita muscaria (the Holy Mushroom), dry them and then give them as gifts on the winter solstice,” Rush told LiveScience in an email. “Because snow is usually blocking doors, there was an opening in the roof through which people entered and exited, thus the chimney story.” 2. Mushrooms, like gifts, are found beneath pine trees. That’s just one of the symbolic connections between the Amanita muscaria mushroom and the iconography of Christmas, according to several historians and ethnomycologists, or people who study fungi’s influence on human societies. Of course, not all scientists agree that the Santa story is tied to a hallucinogen. [Trippy Tales: History of Magic Mushrooms & Other Hallucinogens] In his book “Mushrooms and Mankind” (The Book Tree, 2003) the late author James Arthur points out that Amanita muscaria, also known as fly agaric, lives throughout the Northern Hemisphere under conifers and birch trees, with which the fungi — which are deep red with white flecks — have a symbiotic relationship. This partially explains the practice of the Christmas tree, and the placement of bright red-and-white presents underneath it, which look like Amanita mushrooms, he wrote. “Why do people bring pine trees into their houses at the winter solstice, placing brightly colored (red-and-white) packages under their boughs, as gifts to show their love for each other …?” he wrote. “It is because, underneath the pine bough is the exact location where one would find this ‘Most Sacred’ substance, the Amanita muscaria, in the wild.” (Note: Do not eat these mushrooms, as they can be poisonous.) 3. Reindeer were shaman “spirit animals.” Reindeer are common in Siberia and northern Europe, and seek out these hallucinogenic fungi, as the area’s human inhabitants have also been known to do. Donald Pfister, a Harvard University biologist who studies fungi, suggests that Siberian tribesmen who ingested fly agaric may have hallucinated that the grazing reindeer were flying. “At first glance, one thinks it’s ridiculous, but it’s not,” said Carl Ruck, a professor of classics at Boston University. “Whoever heard of reindeer flying? I think it’s becoming general knowledge that Santa is taking a ‘trip’ with his reindeer.” [6 Surprising Facts About Reindeer] Christmas night. 21 Natural Alternatives to the Flu Shot

21 Natural Alternatives to the Flu Shot

Christina Sarich, Natural Society / Waking Times   21 Natural Alternatives to the Flu Shot Christina Sarich, Natural Society Waking Times The CDC recently admitted that this year’s flu shot likely won’t protect you from the flu, but did it ever? Though the CDC has issued a formal apology regarding the issue for this season, flu vaccinations have long been seen as ineffective by a horde of experts. But don’t worry – here you will find more than 20 natural flu remedies using natural antivirals. No surprise here, but there won’t be any refund for insurance companies or patients who have already taken a flu vaccination early as preparation for the 2015 flu season in January and February, despite the CDC’s admission of its inefficacy. At the end of its apology, though, the CDC says that there is a ‘cure’ for the flu, but it will cost you. GlaxoSmithKline and Roche will happily provide you with two anti-viral medications for patients who come down with the flu. So even if you don’t want to get the flu shot due to it being ineffective, Big Pharma will still gladly handle your case. Interestingly, the flu shot may never really be protecting you, as since there is no single virus that causes the flu, and therefore there is no one flu vaccine that protects against all of them. A virus mutates over time. It adapts. If a vaccine is created to kill one type of virus, it can mutate into another organism, specifically adapted to withstand the ‘medicine’ that was created to kill it. Biotech has simply attempted to come up with a one-dose, all-purpose vaccine that will kill every virus. If it were truly possible to kill all viruses, none would be left on the planet. Just like humans, viruses can make mistakes in the copying of RNA or DNA, and these small mistakes can be repeated into new strains. When these mutations don’t kill the organism, they replicate, making new progeny with the ‘mistake’ coding. This is why people are usually susceptible to disease – except there’s a catch. Innate human immunity works with this world of strange and ever-changing viruses and microbes. It is only when our natural immunity is weakened or disturbed that the body is more likely to get the flu, or any other virus, as well as common invaders like fungi, various parasites including worms, and amoeba, and other single-celled protozoans. We have both external protections and internal ones. A variety of enzymes contained in tears, sweat, and mucus in the digestive, respiratory, and reproductive tracts will neutralize potential invaders (that is unless they are altered by substances like glyphosate or vaccinations). Internally the phagocytes, or white blood cells, will surround the bodily invaders when our immunity is working properly. Finally, we have good microbes in our gut that work to crowd out the bad ones, and make it hard for them to live in our body. When our internal bacteria is imbalanced, we become a host for parasites or viruses. We don’t need another ineffective flu shot, a virus vaccine created by biotech, or another dose of carcinogenic chemicals created by Big Pharma. We just need to nurture our innate immunity with good habits like taking probiotics supplements and supporting immunity through natural means. 21 Natural Flu Remedies (Natural Antivirals)...
